Amsterdam is a women’s shirt pattern with a slightly loose straight cut. It offers many options: 2 bodice lengths (short or long), short or long sleeves with cuffs and tear-resistant slit, and a wide choice of collars (tied, round, sailor, officer, shirt, Victorian, or ruffle).

- Warm season: poplin, cotton voile, batiste, chambray, linen, double gauze, broderie anglaise, viscose, tencel, seersucker, gingham.
- Cold season: flannel, cotton twill, lightweight denim, corduroy, fine gabardine.

- Woven fusible interfacing (type Vlieseline® G700)
- 12 mm buttons for the front
- 10 mm buttons for cuffs (long sleeve version)
Fabric and interfacing requirements are based on the largest collars (sailor collar and round collar). For other collars, requirements may be slightly reduced.
