Nicky velour is a knitted fabric, which has loops on the front of the fabric that have been shaved off. The shaved loops result in a nice velvety soft fabric with a beautiful vibrant effect. Because of the knitted structure, nicky velour is slightly elastic broadwise. Nicky velour is suitable for clothing, such as sporty jackets, cardigans, T-shirts, tops, skirts, dresses, baby wear and scarfs. Also great for pajamas and soft toys. Note: this fabric has nap (thread direction of the pile), so the pattern pieces must be laid on the fabric in the same direction.
