Jersey is a finely knitted fabric that is very supple, soft and slightly elastic (broadwise) because of the knitted structure. The soft touch version is slightly roughened/brushed (like flannel) and therefore feels super soft.
It is a wonderful basic fabric that can be used for many designs. Soft touch jersey is suitable for T-shirts, tops, singlets, skirts, dresses, baby wear, scarfs, nightgowns, pajamas, bedding.
